Narita Airport
Our first three hours in Japan was spent at the airport waiting for the other groups to arrive. Luckily, there was an awesome airport mall to kill time. I was pleasantly surprised to find tankinis are in style in Japan this year (Japan isn't usually mindful of modesty). It is hard to find cute, modest tankinis even in Utah, so I'm thinking I need to splurge here!
Look at all the different flavors of kitkats! Strawberry, kiwi, cheesecake, pudding and... wasabi. I don't know about that one.
Our hotel rooms are small but comfortable. Most of us were able to sleep through the night, though most woke up really early. We're right across the train station, so although it's convenient, the trains are loud!
